Leandre Venter serves as a Recovery Technician and Activities Technician at Momenta Recovery, where she provides comprehensive client support including monitoring program adherence, administering medications, conducting drug testing, and facilitating offsite activities. With certifications in QMAP, CPR, and CSSR, Leandre brings both professional qualifications and personal insight to her role.
Originally from South Africa, where mental health support is often underemphasized, and with a background as a chef, Leandre was drawn to addiction recovery work through personal experiences. Having lost loved ones to addiction and suicide, and having navigated her own journey through trauma and an eating disorder, she brings authentic empathy to her interactions with clients.
Leandre is particularly fulfilled when witnessing clients embrace their authentic selves and progress in their healing journey. Her natural strengths include empathy, resilience, compassion, and leadership, qualities that allow her to serve as a trusted guide and role model for women in recovery.
Outside of work, Leandre embraces outdoor and water activities, pursues creative interests, and indulges her passion for cooking and baking. Her diverse background and personal experiences enable her to form meaningful connections with clients and support them with genuine compassion and understanding.
