His expertise encompasses compliance management, strategic program development, and interdisciplinary team leadership, ensuring organizations meet the highest standards of care while maintaining regulatory compliance.
His therapeutic approach is holistic, positive and relational, utilizing diverse intervention methods. He has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Wilderness/Nature Based Treatment—all the while focusing on the individual and their connection with overall well-being, interpersonal relationships and community.
His commitment to professional development extends to academia, where he has served as Adjunct Professor at multiple institutions. Michael received his Bachelor of Science (BS) from The Pennsylvania State University (WE ARE!) in Health and Human Development with a focus on Experiential/Outdoor Education. He received his Graduate Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Nazareth University with a focus on Family and Community Practice.
He has a love for trail running, hiking, backpacking, kayaking and cycling. If he’s not traveling with his family, reading or attending live music you can usually find him cooking and eating in his kitchen.
